Send Message Node

The Send Message Node allows workflows to send automated messages to users or channels. Messages can be formatted with text, variables, and interactive buttons for user engagement.

Select Recipient Type

In the first dropdown, choose whether to send the message to a user or a channel.

Select User or Channel

• If User is selected, choose a specific user from the second dropdown.

• If Channel is selected, choose a Slack channel from the dropdown list.

Format the Message

• Enter the message content in the text field.

• Use variables to personalize messages, by clicking on Insert Variable.

Add Interactive Buttons (Optional)

• Buttons can be added to provide user interactivity and enable decision-making.\

• Example buttons: Approve, Reject, More Info.

• Each button can trigger a different workflow action (e.g. Form Node).
